$1,000 Sign-On Bonus Join a Stable and Growing Organization We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate to support the financial operations of multiple business entities. This position offers a diverse mix of accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and administrative responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys variety in their work. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable Review, code, and process vendor invoices Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Process and reconcile freight invoices, purchase order transactions, and related documentation Manage intercompany expense allocations and reconciliations Review, reconcile, and import company credit card transactions Perform monthly balancing and account reconciliations Maintain vendor records, W-9 documentation, and assist with annual 1099 reporting Payroll Support Assist with payroll processing and time collection Process employee time-off requests and payroll adjustments Analyze payroll accounts and perform reconciliations Ensure accurate payroll reporting and compliance with company policies Accounts Receivable Post daily cash receipts from multiple payment sources Apply customer payments and reconcile accounts Research and resolve payment discrepancies General Ledger & Financial Reporting Perform account analysis and reconciliations Research accounting issues and resolve discrepancies Support month-end closing activities Assist in preparing financial reports and maintaining accurate accounting records Administrative Support Maintain accounting and financial records File and organize documentation Provide clerical and administrative assistance as needed Support special projects and other accounting functions QualificationsRequired Experience Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Experience working within an ERP accounting system Preferred Experience Sage 100 experience preferred Multi-company accounting experience a plus Technical Skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail Professional Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong mathematical and business aptitude Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence Adaptability in a fast-paced business environment Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: $1,000 Sign-On Bonus Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Basic and Voluntary Life Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Programs Paid Holidays Paid Vacation and Personal Days 401(k)
