Job Description

Fixed Assets Accountant $55-65k Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Fixed Assets Accountant to manage and maintain accurate records of the company's capital assets. This role will support the accounting team by overseeing the full lifecycle of fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, reconciliation, and audit support. The ideal candidate will have strong ERP experience and a solid understanding of fixed asset accounting principles. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update the fixed asset register , ensuring accuracy and completeness Record asset additions, disposals, transfers, and retirements Calculate and post monthly depreciation in accordance with company policy Perform reconciliations between the fixed asset subledger and general ledger Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes related to fixed assets Identify and resolve discrepancies, including clean-up of legacy asset data if needed Partner with finance, operations, and procurement teams on asset-related matters Qualifications 2–5+ years of experience in fixed assets or general accounting Strong understanding of capitalization, depreciation, and asset lifecycle management Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Experience with asset management modules or subledgers EB-6686426710
