What You'll Do We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to lead complex accounting and tax engagements, ensure quality and accuracy of deliverables, and support client relationships. This role serves as a technical resource and mentor to the accounting team and plays a key role in maintaining firm standards, improving processes, and supporting leadership initiatives. Accounting & Tax Prepare and review individual and business tax returns Oversee accounting matters and close processes Lead tax research and apply guidance to client-specific scenarios Support advanced tax planning and advisory work Review of financial statements and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance Client Leadership Serve as a trusted advisor and escalation point for clients Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and improvements Communicate complex accounting and tax matters clearly to clients with senior team members execution Team Leadership & Quality Ensure compliance with firm standards, policies and deadlines Provide technical guidance, coaching and mentorship Review work prepared by Accountants and Staff Accountants Assist with onboarding and training of new members What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in accounting 2-5+ years of relevant combined accounting and tax experience in a local or regional CPA firm Proficiency in accounting and tax knowledge Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., UltraTax) preferred CPA Required Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge Demonstrated ability to apply accounting principles and exercise professional judgment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective written and verbal communication skills, including client interaction Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities What We Offer Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (Coverage begins on the first of the month following your start date.)
