Senior Staff Accountant:
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
- Assist with job costing and tracking project expenses
- Maintain and update WIP schedules and support percentage-of-completion accounting
- Partner with project managers to monitor budgets and project performance
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation
- Identify and support process improvements within the accounting function Qualifications for the
Senior Staff Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience, construction industry preferred
- Exposure to job costing or project-based accounting strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with ERP or construction accounting software is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
