Staff Accountant Gahanna, OH | On Site We're Hiring a Staff Accountant Suburban Steel Supply, Inc. is a 100% employee-owned (ESOP) structural and ornamental steel fabricator based in Gahanna, Ohio. We've been in business since 1979, and our team owns the work, the outcomes, and the company. What You'll Do Own the full accounts payable cycle: invoices, vendor credits, payments, and vendor records Support job cost and project accounting to keep project financials accurate and current Handle account reconciliations across bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts Manage AIA billings and track their status through the project lifecycle Assist with payroll processing and the accounting entries that follow Maintain GL support schedules, fixed assets, prepaids, and monthly accruals Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and year-end close alongside the Accounting Manager What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent work experience 1-5 years of accounting or accounts payable experience Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas Experience with ERP or accounting software; Tekla experience is a plus What We Offer Competitive salary Full benefits package Employee ownership through our ESOP
