If you are an experienced tax professional who enjoys diving into the tax preparation and planning process, analyzing client's financial information, and identifying important tax considerations and tax savings opportunities, we would love to hear from you! At our firm, you will work with some of the most successful business owners, families, and individuals around the country. Utilizing best-in-class resources and technology, you will roll up your sleeves and work in collaboration with our tax manager and advisors to tackle complex tax planning situations and deliver an experience to clients that is second to none. Interested in more details? As a Tax Accountant/Enrolled Agent you can expect to:
  • Deliver high quality tax planning and compliance services
  • Input data, prepare, and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals (medium and high net worth), trusts, and small businesses
  • Work closely with financial advisors to prepare client tax projections through a thoughtful, insightful process
  • Ensure coordinated tax planning services and information delivery
  • Prepare internal memoranda, written correspondence and guidance, and other documents for submission to the IRS or other tax authorities
  • Review tax returns for new-to-firm clients; amend returns as needed
  • Proactively connect with clients to gather and clarify information Qualifications for this role include:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance required
  • EA designation preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in tax services required
  • Experience preparing and reviewing individual and trust tax returns
  • Outstanding detail orientation and communication skills
  • Strong computer desktop skills are required (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, etc.) as well as tax software (CCH ProSystem, UltraTax, etc.); experience with Quickbooks preferred
