Job Description

The Accounting and Administrative Associate plays a vital dual role within the organization, providing accurate and timely support across both financial operations and general office administration. This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of accounting records, supporting period-end close processes, and ensuring day-to-day office functions run efficiently and professionally. We are looking for a detail-oriented, dependable professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work across a diverse range of responsibilities. Accounting & Financial Operations
  • Post journal entries to the general ledger and MRP/ERP system accurately and on schedule
  • Process cash receipts, accounts payable and disbursements transactions in a complete, accurate, and timely manner
  • Record and reconcile daily banking transactions to ensure data integrity
  • Calculate and record monthly accruals in accordance with established procedures
  • Assist with periodic physical inventory counts and related reconciliations
  • Maintain and update accounting procedure documentation to support compliance and operational consistency
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes as directed
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, summaries, and supporting schedules Administrative & Office Support
  • Manage day-to-day office activities to ensure smooth, professional operations
  • Provide general administrative support across multiple departments, including correspondence, filing, scheduling, and supply management
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders as needed
  • Maintain well-organized records and filing systems, both electronic and physical
  • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned in alignment with organizational needs Qualifications Education
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support roles
  • Prior experience with general ledger systems and/or MRP/ERP platforms strongly preferred Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Experience with accounting software
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and navigate new systems and tools quickly Core Competencies
  • Strong attention to detail with a consistent commitment to accuracy and quality
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a small team

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer workstation

Pay:
$45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
