This role will be responsible for supporting the full-cycle accounting process, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing meaningful insights to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, with a strong focus on accurate application of debits and credits Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation Analyze financial results and variances, providing insights and recommendations to leadership Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes Support audits by preparing schedules and documentation as needed Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership teams
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of debits and credits and overall accounting fundamentals Experience with financial analysis and ability to interpret financial data Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly
