Staff Accountant

Job DescriptionJob Description A Kettering area Business is looking for a Staff Accountant to provide financial information by maintaining accounts, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and performing general accounting tasks.

RESPONSIBILITES

include: Preparing and post general ledger accounts Month end closing Assisting with preparation of financial statements Reconciling general ledger accounts and bank statements Accounts Payable Completing audits Processing purchase orders Other accounting functions as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in accounting Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position Working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting and practices High proficiency in Excel Strong attention to detail.
