Job Description
Staff Accountant Mason, OH A growing, multi-entity manufacturing and services organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its finance team. This role supports accounting operations across domestic and international business units and plays a key part in ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting and strong internal controls. This position is well-suited for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to process improvement and operational efficiency within a dynamic, global organization. Key Responsibilities Perform general cost accounting and related accounting functions across the organization Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations for asset, liability, and revenue accounts Maintain and reconcile subledgers, including fixed assets, prepaids, and accrued expenses Execute monthly bank reconciliations Support the month-end close process across multiple business units, including international entities Process and verify weekly accounts payable transactions Assist with accounts receivable functions, including collections support Contribute to AP and AR workflows as needed Support external audit activities by preparing schedules and providing documentation Ensure accuracy and compliance within ERP systems Support sales tax compliance across U.S. jurisdictions Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within accounting and finance processes Collaborate with cross-functional business partners as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 2 years of accounting or finance experience in a business-to-business environment preferred Experience with month-end close processes and ERP systems Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and accountability What's Offered Competitive compensation package Medical, dental, and vision coverage HSA and FSA options 401(k) with employer match Paid parental leave Tuition reimbursement Mental health and employee assistance resources Paid holidays and floating time off Long-term disability coverage (company paid) Career development and growth opportunities Additional Information Role is based in Mason, Ohio May require collaboration across multiple business units and time zones Equal Opportunity Employer E-Verify participant We are an
