Job Description

Senior Accountant This financially stable, growing client which is located south of Columbus is seeking a Senior Accountant to focus on manufacturing and will work with the manufacturing groups to help develop cost and analysis. This role will include general ledger activity, financial statements and budgets, month end closing activity, account reconciliation, account analysis, year-end audit/review and process improvements and implementation.
Responsibilities:
Develop costs for manufacturing products. Understanding variances related to manufacturing.
Assist with month end closing:
journal entries, account reconciliations, and provide general ledger support Fixed assets reporting for company owned assets to include new additions and retirements, calculate monthly depreciation, asset tags and location transfers. Tracking of projects to completion. Responsible for overseeing manufacturing software.
Monthly Reports Annual Budget Process Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related field with minimum of 5 years experience in general accounting preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience in cost accounting Knowledge and experience using ERP software.
