Full Job Description Essential Functions:

Prepares day-to-day and monthly general and standard journal entries, comparative reports, account reconciliations and cost reports. Maintains and reviews cost center and appropriation accounts, including trial balances, to verify accuracy with coding, classifying and posting. Manage and process accounts payable. Any other special projects.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration.

Experience:

Minimum two years accounting experience, ADP Workforce and SAGE experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of accounting principles and practices to identify and describe accounting systems and subsystems Knowledge of budgeting and of cost accounting principles. Knowledge of computer accounting systems and spreadsheets to present financial information. Skills in identifying and resolving accounting problems. Skills in high attention to detail.
