Tax Accountant- CPA Tactical Transportation Advisors Richfield, OH Job Details Full-time $80,000 - $90,000 a year 3 days ago Benefits Disability insurance Health insurance Paid time off Qualifications Accounting systems Customer communication CPA Administrative experience GAAP Accounting firm experience QuickBooks Tax preparation software Accounting standards Budget preparation Full Job Description Overview The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented leader, maintain a current and active CPA license (or be working toward it), possess a strong work ethic, be committed to the work, work with a sense of urgency, be accountable for assigned tasks, and be punctual and articulate. This is an in-person position located in Richfield, Ohio. At a minimum, the candidate must have public accounting experience, knowledge of GAAP, moderate- to advanced-level Excel skills, QuickBooks bookkeeping software, and knowledge of Tax preparation software. It is preferred for the candidate to have an advanced knowledge of individual and business tax rules and be current on recent tax law changes. The senior accountant's responsibilities will include: Preparing complex business and individual tax returns. Direct client communication. Coordinate seasonal tax planning efforts geared toward effective execution of planning objectives. Develop and train support team members. Other ad hoc projects as these come up. Skills Familiarity with general accounting principles. Experience in data collection, entry and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality. Solid knowledge of tax laws and Tax preparation software. Computer savvy with working knowledge of relevant software (e.g., QuickBooks,). Outstanding organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication abilities Independent thinker with aptitude in problem-solving

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
