Job Description

The Senior Accountant (Part-time) provides fractional accounting support to CFO, for PREMIER industrial CLUTCH and BRAKE distributor.

Compensation Data:

Non-Exempt salary, based on experience and education.

Location:

Solon, Ohio - 100% onsite

Travel:

None.

Schedule:

M-F, Hours can vary (18-24 weekly)

Key Qualifications:

Accountant with 5-8 years of experience in financial reporting, general ledger management, and month-end close. Proven ability to improve processes, ensure compliance with GAAP, and support strategic financial decisions. Strong analytical skills with a track record of increasing efficiency and accuracy. Advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with ERP systems.

Position Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis. General Ledger & Reconciliations. Month-End / Year-End Close. Budgeting & Forecasting. Internal Controls & Audit Support. Maintain general ledger and prepare journal entries. Assist with monthly close and financial reporting. Conduct account reconciliations and variance analysis. Collaborate cross-functionally to improve financial accuracy.

We have over half a dozen engineers on staff ready to help with the best solution to solve a Power Transmission application. We sell Orttech designed conversion kits that include Ortlinghaus products around the world for new applications. Orttech is a stocking distributor with over $2MM worth of spare parts as well complete units. We provide same day shipping of spare parts as well complete units as needed. We also have a first class customer service center staffed by fully trained sales administrators that are eager to help our customers.
