This position is primarily responsible for the daily export and importing of daily sales across all companies through the visual integrator job, daily reconciliation of cleared checks, journal entries, and ad hoc assignments by management Salary position On-site at Vance Outdoors, Obetz location Monday

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Maintain and update accounting records and files Analyze budgets and create expense reports Examine tax policies and handle tax payments and returns Meet with clients to discuss confidential accounting issues Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger (e.g. by assets, liabilities and expenses) Reconcile bank statements Analyze transactions with internal and external stakeholders Conduct month-end and year-end closures Prepare documents for audits Advise clients on financial issues via email or phone Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations Report to the Accounting Manager and work to improve financial processes

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
