Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in property accounting to support the financial operations of a third-party property management team. This role is responsible for accurate financial reporting, general ledger management, and compliance related to commercial and/or residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle accounting for assigned properties, including general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for properties Record and reconcile rent income, CAM charges, property expenses, and tenant billings Perform bank account and balance sheet reconciliations Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare budget vs. actual analyses and assist with annual budgeting process Coordinate with property managers regarding financial issues and variance explanations Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies Assist with year-end close, audits, and tax preparation support Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation

Qualifications:
