You will play a vital part in preparing and reviewing detailed tax returns, respond to letters and notices from various agencies, and advising on strategic tax planning initiatives. Your proactive approach and passion for precision will drive success in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and continuous growth. Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and non-profit organizations with accuracy and timeliness. Conduct comprehensive tax planning and advisory sessions to optimize client financial strategies while ensuring compliance with current laws and regulations. Perform detailed financial statement analysis, including balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation to support accurate reporting. Utilize advanced accounting software such as QuickBooks Online and Desktop, Intuit Proconnect and Microsoft Excel & Word, and other financial software tools for bookkeeping, asset management, payroll processing, and financial report writing. Prepare written arguments to various taxing agencies in response to written communications received. Proven experience in public accounting with a strong background in tax experience and technical accounting principles. Proficiency with various accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop and Online versions, and other financial management tools. Solid understanding of tax accounting standards along with double entry bookkeeping practices and balance sheet reconciliation techniques. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial concepts and prepare detailed financial reports. Ability to perform account reconciliation accurately. Effective communication skills to explain technical accounting issues clearly and collaborate seamlessly with clients or team members.
