Senior Accountant

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this pivotal role, you will lead complex accounting functions, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and support financial reporting processes. Your expertise will drive accurate financial analysis, streamline accounting operations, and contribute to the overall financial health of our organization. Duties Prepare and analyze financial statements. Conduct detailed balance sheet reconciliations and account analyses to verify data integrity across the general ledger. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining precise records. Oversee cash management activities, including forecasting, cash flow analysis, and job costing. Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial report writing. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3 - 5 years' experience in corporate accounting environments with a strong understanding of GAAP standards. Strong background in Payroll operations highly desirable. Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed account analysis and account reconciliation efficiently. Excellent understanding of financial concepts including cash management, budgeting and forecasting. Ability to interpret financial data accurately while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines. Effective communication skills for preparing comprehensive financial reports and collaborating with diverse teams.
