Controller / Accountant

We are seeking a high skilled, hands on Controller / Accountant to join a dynamic organization based in Norman, Oklahoma. This role will help create and lead the oversight of all accounting features for multiple entities within the company. Your role will work closely with executive leadership and unit managers to drive the financial accuracy, maintain budget integrity, compliance and general accuracy across all accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivables, payroll and general ledger maintenance Collaborate with the company president and unit managers to monitor monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports Manage cash flow and conduct bank reconciliations to maintain financial stability Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies across all accounting processes Review and interpret financial records Compile statistical, financial, accounting and auditing reports for management Work on special projects as needed. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to relate problems and translate solutions in a manner that can be easily understood by customers, team members and management

Experience/Qualifications/Education:

Bachelors degree in Accounting with state CPA certification 5-7 years of relevant experience in an accounting field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with various accounting software platforms including
