Job Description

Position Overview:
Responsible for the preparation and posting of monthly journal entries to the general ledger system. Assist with the reconciliation of various accounts and preparation of month end reporting. Provide other accounting support to Director of Finance and CFO as needed.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
Apply accounting principles, regulations, and policies to all work duties Record business transactions in the general ledger system as needed Review and reconcile accounts receivable monthly Prepare and post month-end journal entries to Quickbooks Reconciliation of EMR to accounting system monthly Assist with general ledger account reconciliations Assist with regular bank and credit card reconciliations Research, track, and resolve reconciliation items Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting Keep sensitive information confidential Help provide and prepare information for reports in a timely manner Perform other accounting, financial or administrative tasks as needed by the CFO or Director of Finance Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Quickbooks experience preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Reading comprehension skills strong enough to read and interpret financial documents
  • General knowledge and understanding of accounting procedures Ability to perform mathematical calculations quickly and accurately
