Temp Staff Accountant Staff Accountant (3-Month Contract)
Location:
 Oklahoma City, OK (on-site)
Pay:
 $30.00/hr
Schedule:
 Full-Time | July - October (3-Month Contract) Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required. 3 years minimum accounting experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with accounting software; QuickBooks Online experience required Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism. Essential Responsibilities Accounting & Finance Count daily cash receipts and prepare bank deposits. Balance daily register reports for the Museum Store and Ticket Counter. Prepare daily revenue journals. Track change fund activity and prepare or receive change orders as needed. Monitor group reservations, payments, billing, and refunds. Prepare and send accounts receivable invoices. Maintain accounts receivable aging reports. Enter and process accounts payable invoices. Maintain vendor files and organize paid invoices. Prepare deposits for donations, ticket sales, and other receipts. Update monthly sales reports. Track online ticket sales and import transactions into the POS system. Perform off-site banking activities, including deposits and store banking needs. Prepare and post journal entries for payroll, 401(k) contributions, museum revenue, and daily financial activity. Code and categorize expenses, including credit card transactions, in QuickBooks Online. Donor & Administrative Support Enter donations into the donor database and maintain accurate donor records. Generate and send donor acknowledgment and thank-you letters. Track and maintain Certificates of Liability Insurance for vendors. Empty site donation boxes weekly and prepare monthly deposits. Human Resources Support Assist the CFO with various HR functions, including: New hire onboarding and employee offboarding. Maintaining employee personnel files. Benefits administration and enrollment changes. Coordinating performance review schedules and HR deadlines. Responding to employee questions and directing more complex issues to the CFO. Processing payroll and 401(k) contributions.
