Job Summary Accountants in this role handle entry level accounting responsibilities at DTM and partner with business operations. Accountants using their working knowledge of accounting principles and building upon that knowledge with exposure to the full accounting process end to end. Accountants advise on financial reports, and review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports. Every day is a new challenge and opportunity to help our team become more efficient and effective. Individuals in this role are expected to be team players who collaborate with others throughout the US to advocate best practices and pitch in where needed. Accountants move fast while maintaining attention to detail and tapping into problem-solving skills to support business objectives. Key Accountabilities Perform month-end close processes, including agreement review, apply cash payments to customer accounts and preparing/posting journal entries, assist with 10Q/10K reporting including revenue disclosure requirements. Prepare and present financials and support with any ad-hoc requests from cross-functional teams. Prepare various journal entries, account reconciliations, regulatory reports, and budget information Performs accounting functions related to customer accounting and accounts receivable reconciliations Verify and/or perform calculations including, but not limited to: Ratios Percentages and discounts Depreciation Allocations Account charges Financial ratios Use applicable micro and/or mainframe applications to assist with preparation and/or verification of information including, but not limited to: Forecasted versus actual expenses Governmental/regulatory reports Financial reports Quarterly income statements Provide information and assistance to auditors, governmental/regulatory staff, managers, employees, customers, and others concerning accounting activities Minimum Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent 3 years of relevant work experience Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with a focus on revenue recognition Business acumen, with the ability to work amidst ambiguity Ability to understand and present data Communication and project management skills, with the ability to work with minimal guidance and in a team environment
