Stable, high-demand manufacturing business with a strong team-oriented culture and consistent weekday schedule About the Role We re looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant with manufacturing experience and advanced Excel skills to manage daily financial operations, including cash activity, AP/AR, and month-end close. This role requires someone who can work independently, own key accounting processes, and confidently analyze data using spreadsheets , including formulas, VLOOKUPs, and commission calculations. Key Responsibilities Cash Management & Financial Accuracy:
Own daily cash activity, reconciliations, and GL accuracy, including journal entries and account reviews AR/AP Coordination:
Support receivables and payables functions, including payment tracking, reconciliations, and process consistency Month-End Close & Reporting:
Assist with close activities and preparation of monthly financial statements Banking & Transactions:
Manage wire transfers, positive pay, and other secure banking processes Excel-Based Analysis & Commissions:
Utilize Excel for reporting and analysis, including VLOOKUPs, formulas, and spreadsheet-based calculations such as commission tracking and payouts Cross-Functional Support & Team Contribution:
Partner across departments to ensure accurate financial data flow while contributing to a collaborative team environment and supporting junior staff as needed Qualifications Education:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting or related field Experience:
4+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment (manufacturing exposure is a plus) Excel Proficiency (Required): Strong working knowledge of Excel, including VLOOKUPs, formulas, and the ability to build and interpret spreadsheets for financial tracking and calculations Technical Skills:
Solid understanding of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting Work Style:
