Up to $35/hour DOE Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations for a mission-driven organization. This role offers an immediate start and the opportunity to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Review Accounts Payable coding and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance. Review and reconcile credit card transactions and expense documentation. Process and post cash receipts and related accounting transactions. Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close activities. Support general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and compliance-related projects. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of accounting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous Staff Accountant or similar accounting experience required. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to work onsite in Happy Valley, OR and start quickly.
Pay:
$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
