Up to $55/hour DOE CV Resources is partnering with a large, multi-billion-dollar organization to identify a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join its Corporate Financial Reporting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a financial reporting professional with strong technical accounting expertise who can quickly step in and support critical reporting initiatives during a period of high visibility and organizational growth. This role offers exposure to executive leadership, complex accounting matters, global consolidation activities, and external financial reporting processes. Key Responsibilities Prepare and draft quarterly and annual financial statements Develop and maintain footnote disclosures and supporting schedules Assist with technical accounting research, analysis, and documentation Review divisional financial submissions as part of the global consolidation process Analyze consolidated financial information for unusual items, trends, and potential adjustments Support accounting for complex transactions, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and other technical accounting matters Assist with accounting policy development, implementation, and documentation Support financial reporting and consolidation activities within Oracle Assist with statutory reporting requirements and compliance initiatives Support internal and external audit requests and inquiries Partner with accounting and finance teams across the organization to resolve reporting and technical accounting matters Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required CPA strongly preferred (inactive CPA acceptable) 5+ years of accounting, financial reporting, audit, or related experience Public accounting experience highly preferred Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principles Experience preparing financial statements and drafting footnote disclosures Experience researching accounting guidance and documenting accounting conclusions Consolidation and external reporting experience preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment Ideal Backgrounds We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in: Financial Reporting Technical Accounting External Reporting Public Accounting (Audit) SEC Reporting Why This Opportunity?
