Accountant

Accountant Location:

McMinnville, OR On-site Our client is a rapidly expanding consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturer specializing in high‑quality, nutrition‑focused products developed for global retail, wellness, and private‑label markets. They are seeking a detail‑driven, versatile Accountant to support day‑to‑day accounting functions and contribute to reliable financial reporting across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports (AP) Reconcile bank statements, credit card activity, and balance sheet accounts Assist with month‑end and year‑end close Prepare and post journal entries; maintain general ledger accuracy Support internal and external audits with required documentation Partner with cross-functional teams throughout operations and finance Ensure adherence to accounting policies and internal controls Perform ad hoc reporting, financial tasks, and special projects as assigned Essential Qualifications & Experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1-3 years of general accounting experience Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, etc.) Solid grasp of basic GAAP principles Strong organizational and analytical abilities Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Ability to balance multiple priorities and work independently or collaboratively Desired Experience within manufacturing, CPG, or food production environments Familiarity with audit processes and internal control frameworks Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑moving, growth‑oriented business
