Essential Job Functions:
Manage full-cycle accounting for assigned entities, including general ledger maintenance and month-end close activities. Prepare and process customer billings and monitor accounts receivable collections. Process accounts payable invoices, payment requests, and vendor disbursements in a timely and accurate manner. Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules. Analyze financial activity and investigate variances or discrepancies. Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate supporting documentation. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking as requested. Prepare and file various tax reports and business filings, including sales/use tax, personal property tax, and other required compliance filings. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper coding, approvals, and financial accuracy. Support annual audit requests and provide requested documentation. Maintain organized accounting records and documentation in accordance with company policies. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and internal controls. Assist with special projects and other accounting or finance duties as assigned.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field At least 3 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience Experience in senior housing accounting preferred Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship building skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient with MS office (especially Excel) and accounting systems (Yardi preferred) Motivated self-starter able to successfully set and meet goals:
