Job Description

The Bookkeeper reports to the Owner and is responsible for, but not limited to, maintaining the day-to-day accounting functions, accruals, financial statement preparation, and performing general accounting functions, as required.
Requirements:
Education (combined 7 years' experience between education/work experience) Working knowledge of Sage ( or similar ) Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment Thrives in a collaborative, team player office environment Ability to work well with internal and external contacts Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
Duties:
Audit AR/AP Updating/understanding the GL
  • preparing journal entries for fixed assets, depreciation, etc. Run monthly trial balance and adjust accordingly Provide owners with monthly financial reports
  • balance sheet, income statement, equity, etc. Banking needs
  • prepare bank deposits, reconciling bank statements Administration of quarterly business and payroll taxes Maintain required business documents Maintain required business documents Update & Maintain business procedures Perform other related duties as may be requested by owner
Professional Development:
Attend product knowledge seminars as offered.
