$49.83 Job Overview Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional ready to make a significant impact within a dynamic agency? We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant III to oversee complex financial operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and contribute to vital fiscal reporting in Milwaukie, OR. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with three years relevant experience OR CPA or CGFM certification with three years of relevant experience Superior proficiency in Excel and financial data analysis Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle multiple priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in designing and modifying accounting systems Knowledge of governmental or fund accounting principles Responsibilities and Duties Oversee the maintenance of accounting controls and procedures Prepare accurate financial reports and statements Resolve complex accounting issues and discrepancies Adapt and design accounting systems to meet diverse requirements Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards Manage cash flow and grant accounting activities Oversee and review subsystems related to financial processes Analyze fiscal data and trends to support decision-making Present financial interpretations and reports to management and external agencies Develop, modify, and review financial systems and reports with independent judgment Communicate effectively with management and external stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and compliance Why Work for Galt Foundation Galt Foundation is a non-profit staffing agency with the mission to provide, promote, and expand employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
