We offer a competitive compensation package that includes PTO, medical, dental, life insurance and a retirement program with company match. This is a Monday-Friday position in a professional office environment. The hours are generally 7:00am-4:00pm. Primary Duties Include (but are not limited to): Perform accounting and administrative tasks efficiently and accurately. Audit day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, recording accounting data. Reconcile sales transactions to ensure that all invoices and payments are accounted for. Identify document discrepancies and resolve issues. Generate reports detailing account status.
Qualifications and Skills:
Data entry skills along with a high degree of comfort working with numbers. Hands-on experience creating spreadsheets within Excel. Proficient organization and prioritization skills. Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles. High degree of accuracy and a very strong attention to detail.
  • Can pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
  • The ability to learn multi-state and federal compliance documents.
On-the-job training is provided, and you would be working with an established management team with several decades of industry knowledge and experience.
Education:
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail will allow for success in this role.
  • 2+ years previous work experience in an accounting office
  • And / or an Associate's Degree in Accounting
  • Candidates with substantial related work experience or a degree in business will also be considered for this role.
Working Conditions:
Growing company with strong mentorship and a track record of promotion from within. Works in a typical office environment. Employees must possess good manual dexterity; be able to sit, stand, kneel, and squat; be able to lift at least 10 lbs. regularly and 25 lbs. occasionally. Regular attendance is required to perform the job satisfactorily.
