We are committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care while supporting a strong, collaborative internal team. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing organization. This role is essential in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting strategic initiatives, and ensuring operational efficiency. Position Summary The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations and assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role works closely with the CFO and leadership team to ensure the financial health and integrity of the organization. Key Responsibilities Accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for leadership Assist the CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets Coordinate and support external reporting, tax filings, and regulatory reporting Supervise and support accounting staff, providing leadership and guidance Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to support business growth and efficiency Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and organization Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment Why First Call Home Health? Pay:
$62,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
