Duties Supported monthly and year-end close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries and validation of financial data from multiple departments. Performed general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of discrepancies. Assisted in preparation of financial reports, budget analysis, and ad hoc reporting to support leadership decision-making and planning. Processed and reviewed accounting transactions including invoices, payments, and expense activity while supporting accounts payable functions and vendor inquiries. Maintained supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts, including accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other key financial records. Assisted with audit support and compliance reporting by preparing documentation, schedules, and reconciliations for external review requirements. Helped ensure proper coding, classification, and maintenance of financial data within accounting systems in accordance with internal policies and GAAP standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of five years' experience in accounting roles. Extensive knowledge of GAAP principles and technical accounting standards.
