Staff Accountant

Job Title:

Staff Accountant Job Description This Staff Accountant position involves responsibilities such as performing bank reconciliations, recording journal entries, and analyzing financial statements. Additionally, you will be tasked with issuing certificates of insurance and tax exemption certifications. Responsibilities Perform bank reconciliations accurately and timely. Record journal entries in compliance with accounting standards. Analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness. Issue certificates of insurance and tax exemption certifications as needed. Essential Skills Proficiency in reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement analysis. Ability to create pivot tables, Vlookups, and SUMIFs. Experience with large-scale ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, SAGE, Infor, or NetSuite. At least 2 years of experience in reconciling balance sheet accounts. At least 2 years of experience in recording journal entries. At least 2 years of experience working with financial statements. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Candidates without a degree may be considered for a temporary role but not for a temp-to-perm position. Experience with SAP is a plus. Work Environment This position is onsite and offers the opportunity to work within a growing manufacturing company that values great company culture and team events. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlisle, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
