Job DescriptionJob Description LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a rapidly growing, multi-brand organization. We are seeking a Senior Accountant to own full-cycle accounting across a portfolio of operating brands and serve as a critical financial backbone for the organization. This role goes beyond compliance and reporting - the ideal candidate brings strong accounting fundamentals, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to understand how businesses operate, identify issues early, and improve processes at scale. This position sits at the intersection of accounting, finance, and operations. You will work closely with brand leadership, integration teams, and corporate finance partners, providing broad exposure across the organization. High performers in this role will have opportunities to grow into accounting leadership, FP&A, or M&A integration roles as the platform continues to scale. Full-Time, Direct Hire Responsibilities:
Monthly Close & Financial Reporting
  • Own the full monthly close process for assigned business units, including bank reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and variance analysis
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial statements are GAAP-compliant and completed within a 15-business-day close timeline
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements, supporting schedules, and management reporting for operational and executive stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and escalate discrepancies, risks, and unusual trends Financial Operations & Analysis
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting through data preparation and analysis
  • Analyze operational metrics such as collections, payroll, job costing, and vendor activity to surface insights and identify inefficiencies
  • Assist with audit requests, tax workpapers, and ad hoc financial projects Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to streamline close processes, improve reporting accuracy, and reduce manual work through improved workflows, automation, or tooling
  • Contribute to documentation, standardization, and best-practice development across the accounting function
  • Take ownership of assigned processes and actively bring forward improvement ideas
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2-6 years of accounting experience, including 1-2 years in a senior or lead capacity
  • Experience in a multi-entity or fast-growing environment strongly preferred; public accounting a plus
  • CPA candidate preferred but not required
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes
  • Advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems strongly preferred
  • Comfortable leveraging automation and emerging tools to improve efficiency
  • High attention to detail with the ability to think strategically
  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally with non-finance stakeholders
