DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position supports the Accounts Payable Department by helping ensure that financial documents are handled with accuracy, confidentiality, and care. The role focuses on bookkeeping duties such as reviewing, processing, and tracking accounting information across the facility. As a Fiscal Assistant, you will perform the following duties:
Invoice Processing:
Review vendor invoices and related documents to confirm accuracy and support timely reimbursement
Financial Review:
Analyze accounting records and identify errors so corrective action can be taken
Database Coordination:
Assist staff with goods receipt entries and help resolve posting issues in the database system
Purchase Orders:
Monitor purchase order balances and communicate needed adjustments to appropriate staff
Record Management:
Maintain organized files and prepare documents needed for audits or financial reviews
Account Support:
Help reconcile accounts and report discrepancies so financial records remain accurate Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday
  • Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
This may change based on operational needs. Travel and overtime as needed in rare instances Free parking!

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of experience performing bookkeeping or clerical accounting work; or An associate degree in accounting or business administration including or supplemented by six credits in accounting; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
