Sr. Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Sr. Accountant to join a growing team in Easton, Maryland in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This role is responsible for supporting month-end and year-end close processes, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, maintaining internal controls, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.

Analyze general ledger accounts and investigate variances. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation.

Maintain and improve accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting regulations and company policies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and business operations.
