Senior Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing organization in the Central PA area. This role will be responsible for supporting the month-end close process, maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage and assist with the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliationsMaintain and review general ledger activity to ensure accuracy and completenessPrepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedulesPerform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepanciesSupport audit preparation and work with external auditors as neededAssist with process improvements and strengthen internal controlsCollaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership teamsEnsure compliance with GAAP and company policies
