Job Description
Our Firm We are a growing CPA Firm located in Latrobe, PA dedicated to providing a high level of service to our clients. Summary We are seeking a Tax Staff Accountant who creates value and manages a balance of efficiency and accuracy in their assigned duties. An ideal candidate would need to maintain our core value of high level of customer service to our clients. Responsibilities Preparation of corporation, S-corporation, partnership, nonprofit and individual income tax filings Completion of tax research for individual transactions and during the preparation of the tax returns to achieve an accurate and efficient product Preparation of income tax projections and quarterly estimated tax calculations Data entry on various tax software and bookkeeping related software Ensures excellent phone etiquette and clear, knowledgeable customer service Requirements 3+ years' professional accounting experience Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance Public accounting experience preferably in a small to mid-size firm Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online Preferred CPA/EA is a plus but not required General knowledge of Bookkeeping and Payroll Benefits Simple IRA Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Paid time off
