Position Description:

Join a dynamic manufacturing team as a Senior Accountant and take ownership of core accounting functions across multiple sites. In this role, you will enhance financial accuracy, contribute to operational efficiencies, and support profitable growth through detailed financial analysis and collaboration. You will be responsible for maintaining precise financial records, supporting cost and inventory accounting, and ensuring compliance with GAAP principles. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, analyze, and post journal entries; maintain accurate general ledger records. Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including inventory, fixed assets, and accruals. Support cost accounting, job costing, and departmental spend analysis to optimize operational performance. Lead or assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting to inform business decisions. Support treasury functions and oversee accounts receivable collections. Collaborate with operational and leadership teams to drive financial clarity and improvements. Prepare for audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls. Utilize ERP systems (Synchro, SAGE) for reporting, process improvements, and training purposes.

Required Skills/Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. 3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting within a manufacturing setting preferred. Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting standards. Experience with ERP systems such as SAGE and Synchro. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools. Familiarity with inventory, cost accounting, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
