Job Title:
Accounting Professional 4 Location(s): Malvern, PA Job Description The Senior Accountant provides advanced accounting support across multiple business units, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This role supports general ledger accounting, month-end and quarterly close activities, complex journal entries, and account reconciliations while collaborating with business partners to resolve accounting matters. The position also contributes to financial analysis, process improvements, and audit support while ensuring alignment with internal financial reporting guidelines. Key Responsibilities Support month-end and quarterly close processes, including preparation and approval of journal entries and financial analytics. Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts and perform complex account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial reporting. Review and resolve complex accounting issues in accordance with IFRS standards. Prepare financial statements, reports, and variance analyses within strict reporting timelines. Collaborate with business units, finance teams, and management to address accounting topics and provide guidance on financial processes. Analyze financial process flows to strengthen internal controls, improve efficiency, and ensure transaction accuracy. Support accounting activities across ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. Assist with audit requirements by providing documentation and financial data to internal and external auditors. Contribute to financial projects, system integrations, and process improvement initiatives. Coordinate preparation of various regulatory or financial reports as required. Required Skills and Experience Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and IFRS standards. Experience handling complex accounting topics and resolving financial discrepancies. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical capabilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities while working within tight reporting deadlines. Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to stakeholders. Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). Typically 5-7 years of public accounting or 7+ years of private accounting experience. Professional certifications such as CPA are preferred but not required. Ampcus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
