Opportunity Summary The Project Accountant is responsible for all accounting activity related to audio visual installation projects including project and budget creation in the accounting system's project module, revenue recognition, management of sales tax, and client invoicing among other duties. Key Responsibilities and Time Allocation Project Accounting - 50% Setup projects based on contracts, including project budgets, within Microsoft Dynamic's Great Plains (GP) Accounting software Interface with Project Managers to determine status (percent-of-completion) of Audio Visual projects Recognize Revenue, based on information from Project Managers on percent-of-project completion, using the Project Accounting Module within Great Plains Prepare client invoices based on proposal terms, payment schedule and project status to include AIA type contractor progress billings. Enter invoice information into Cenero Data Systems (CDS) Process project-related monthly sales tax invoices in support of CFO state sales tax reporting Identify which projects are generating or consuming cash Create visibility into financial discrepancies between actual and estimated expenses during the project Track both internal change orders and customer change orders Tie project accounting to time and attendance productivity tracking Interface and maintain information in CDS as required Respond effectively to sensitive customer requests, inquiries or concerns Position requires extreme attention to detail and accuracy Other duties and tasks as assigned Collections Accounting - 50% Manages the accounts receivable portfolio, focusing on collecting outstanding invoices, reducing DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and resolving payment discrepancies. Contact customers, negotiate payment plans, and update financial records while maintaining positive client relationships.

Invoice Collection :

Contact clients via phone and email regarding overdue accounts to secure timely payments. Maintain records of collection activities. Investigate billing disputes and process adjustments to the correct accounts.

Account Management:

Reconcile customer accounts, research payment discrepancies, and manage high-volume B2B or B2C accounts receivable. Qualifications Ability to comprehend and apply principles of modern algebra and equations Excellent communication skills required Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.,) in its most difficult phases Applicable industry certifications and training as required Read, analyze, and interpret the complex documents including product specifications, wiring diagrams, and architectural drawings Clearly and unambiguously communicate verbally or in writing Experience and/or Education Bachelor's degree in an appropriate accounting-related field; and/or two+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Detailed working knowledge of computers (Windows based) and office software Experience with Microsoft Dynamic's Great Plains (GP) Accounting software preferred including the Project Accounting module Skills Applicant must have efficient Excel skills Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn an array of computer hardware and software Applicant must have the ability to multi-task Complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner Ability to prioritize and possess excellent problem solving skills Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard; and talk or hear Required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms Must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds Work Environment Location is our corporate headquarters. 1150 Atwater Drive, Malvern, PA 19355. COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY

The salary range for a Project Accountant can range from $65,500 to $83,750 per year The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be in or near that range Individual pay is determined by different factors, including work experience, geographic location, job-related skills, education level, position specific technical certifications, and additional trainings completed All health and wellness benefits will begin on Day 1 of employment. There is no mandatory 90-day waiting period
