Our client is a growing food and beverage service organization seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. STAFF ACCOUNTANT KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle accounts payable tasks and support accounts receivable processing and collections The Staff Accountant will enter and code invoices daily while developing system and database knowledge Create daily sales reports comparing current and prior year performance Build and maintain vendor relationships and manage account activity The Staff Accountant will perform account reconciliations and assist with select payroll-related tasks Support month-end close, inventory tracking, and food cost analysis Conduct daily and weekly sales audits for accuracy The Staff Accountant will review operational paperwork including sales, customer activity, gift card transactions, and employee disbursements

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 1+ year of accounting experience (internship experience accepted) Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) Experience with at least one major ERP system preferred
