Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Job DescriptionJob Description C2G Energy Solutions, LLC, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to manage the financial operations of C2G's water treatment plant. In this role, you will oversee the full accounting cycle, ensuring regulatory compliance, efficient budgeting, and financial stability for our critical utility operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general accounting, tax planning, and financial management to support plant operations and infrastructure investments.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standard accounting principles.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

Collaborate with plant management to develop, monitor, and adjust annual budgets and cash flow projections related to operational costs and maintenance.

Tax Compliance & Planning:

Manage federal, state, and local tax filings, ensuring adherence to utility-specific tax regulations, local operating requirements, and capital asset depreciation.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Supervise day-to-day transactions, including vendor payments, chemical and equipment procurement, utility billing, and collection activities.

Supervise:

Oversee the accounting team, AP, AR & payroll.

Internal Controls & Auditing:

Develop and maintain internal financial controls to safeguard assets and prepare the facility for external audits or regulatory reviews. Oversee the accounting team, AP/AR, and payroll.

Qualifications:

Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standing. Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, or related field. 3-5 years of accounting experience. Strong GAAP knowledge. Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with modern accounting software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial managers. "Innovative Solutions for Energy and Water"

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range:

$100,000 annually (commensurate with experience).

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday to Friday.
