Together, we manage a diverse portfolio of business operations and are looking for a detail-oriented accounting professional to support both entities. Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage all financial transactions across our companies. This role covers accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, vendor payments, and ongoing liaison with our third-party CPA for tax matters. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and comfortable working across multiple business lines simultaneously. Responsibilities Process and record all client receivables, including rental income, sales payments, and deposits Manage all vendor and supplier payments in a timely manner Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll for employees Handle contractor and subcontractor payments with proper documentation Record and reconcile all company operating expenses Manage and track insurance premiums, loan repayments, and mortgage payments Maintain accurate and up-to-date books across all company accounts Coordinate with third-party CPA on tax filings, year-end reporting, and compliance matters Generate monthly financial reports and summaries for management review Flag financial discrepancies and assist with internal audits as needed Requirements Minimum 1 year of accounting or bookkeeping experience Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software Solid understanding of accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger Experience working with real estate, property management, or construction industries is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) preferred Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion OPT/CPT candidates welcome; H-1B sponsorship and green card support available for qualified candidates
