Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Technical Accountant to support complex accounting areas including revenue recognition, acquisitions, and SEC reporting. This role works closely with leadership to evaluate non-routine transactions and develop well-supported accounting positions under
U.S. GAAP.
This is a high-judgment role focused on technical accounting, not a traditional close-focused position
Key Responsibilities:
Research and document accounting conclusions under
U.S. GAAP
(ASC 606, 805, 842, etc.) Analyze customer contracts and determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment Draft technical accounting memos for complex or non-routine transactions Support SEC reporting, including 10-K and 10-Q disclosures Assist with acquisition accounting, including purchase price allocations and opening balance sheets Partner with external auditors on technical accounting matters Provide accounting guidance on new or evolving business transactions
Qualifications:
CPA required 3-6+ years of experience in public accounting or a technical accounting role Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, particularly revenue recognition (ASC 606) Experience with SEC reporting preferred
