Job DescriptionJob Description Contract-to-Hire Staff Accountant (Payroll & HR Experience Required) Near Pittsburgh, PA | Up to $28/hour LHH is partnering with a well-established and growing organization near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to hire a Staff Accountant with experience supporting payroll and HR functions. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers the chance to join a collaborative team while contributing to both accounting operations and employee-related processes. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries and support general ledger activities Assist with account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Support month-end and year-end close processes Process payroll and assist with payroll reporting and compliance Support HR functions including maintaining employee records and onboarding coordination Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity Utilize Excel for reporting, tracking, and financial analysis Assist with financial reporting and audit support Collaborate across accounting and HR teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness Qualifications 2+ years of accounting, payroll, or related experience Experience supporting payroll processing and HR functions required Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data organization) Knowledge of general accounting principles High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to handle confidential financial and employee information Strong communication and problem-solving skills Why This Opportunity Stands Out Contract-to-hire with long-term growth potential Competitive pay up to $28/hour Collaborative and supportive team environment Opportunity to expand accounting, payroll, and HR experience Convenient location near Pittsburgh, PA Apply Today Submit your resume to be considered for this opportunity and continue growing your accounting career.
Pay Details:
