Job DescriptionJob Description WDEA is a leading accounting and consulting firm in the Central Susquehanna Valley. We serve a variety of both individual and business clients from offices located in Selinsgrove and Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Payroll Specialist to process and manage payroll for many clients with very different needs. Applicants must be able to use payroll software with accuracy and efficiency, be teachable, and trustworthy with sensitive information. Confidentiality is a must. Responsibilities include preparing and executing payroll using state of the art software, calculating and submitting payroll taxes electronically, submitting workers compensation audits for clients and processing monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports, W2s, and 1099s. Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices. A good knowledge of regulations in the field. Proficient in MS Office, Adobe applications, and working knowledge of Quick Books is a plus. Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent.
