Accountant II

The candidate will perform general cost accounting and other accounting related duties as deemed appropriate to help steer the company toward it's objectives and goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

o General Cost Accounting and other related duties o Preparing Periodic (monthly) balance sheets, income statements, and profit & loss statements o Data Entry - Invoicing, Accounts Payable o As appropriate, coordinates with software vendor to maintain accounting software system o Performs other related duties as assigned o Cost comparisons, tracking reports and data analysis o Accounting and Finance analysis reporting Ability to perform additional tasks as required by management.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline or equivalent experience 3-5 years accounting experience required

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Highly proficient with accounting software/ERP systems Proficient with Data Analysis tools and metrics - PowerBI Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

PHYSICAL DEMANDS /WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job will be performed in a Office Environment. Sitting Standing Lifting < 50 lbs. Computer typing Computer monitor

Pay:

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
