About the Role This position is an opportunity to join an Accounting team supporting a significant carve-out entity with a global footprint as it builds the foundation for future growth and enhances its financial policies, procedures, and controls. Successful candidates must be willing to roll up their sleeves, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and possess excellent problem-solving abilities. The role offers exposure to a broad range of finance leadership, as well as opportunities to engage across a variety of accounting and financial disciplines. The candidate will gain visibility into end-to-end finance processes, from accounting through FP&A. Primary Responsibilities Prepare, analyze, and post journal entries and complete various month-end close activities including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial statement completion in accordance with US GAAP Support accounting related to cash, prepaids, accruals, and general accounting Oversee accounting related to fixed assets and CIP globally Assists in the compilation of supporting documents and variance explanations for external audit requirements Identify areas of opportunity/weakness within business processes and recommend solutions for achieving optimal efficiency Support various ad-hoc projects across the accounting & finance departments Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required 2-4+ years of general accounting experience; preferably including Retail/Wholesale/Consumer Goods High intellectual curiosity and honesty Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated attention to detail and dedication to accuracy Proactive approach; independently identifies and solves problems Strong excel skills and experience What Orveon Offers You You are a creator of Orveon's success and your own. At Orveon Global, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining compensation. Actual salaries may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, education, experience, skills, and qualifications . The pay range for this position is $60,000
