Responsibilities Management of financial transactions for multiple entities: Manage all accounting transactions Assist with accounts payable and payroll functions Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings Assist in the reconciliaiton of all accounts payable and receivable Complete monthly bank reconciliations Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations Audit financial transacitons and documents Ensure audit compliance for client payables transactions, as applicable Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with customers, both internal and external Provide process improvement recommendations for clients related to their accounting systems and functions Requirements Several years of experience as an accountant Fundamental knowledge of GAAP Clean background checks (FBI and BCI) Associate's Degree (Bachelor's Degree preferred) in accounting, finance, or a related field Excellent listening, written, and oral communication, organizational, and time-management skills Possess knowledge and experience in use of computer software programs, with hands-on experience in Quickbooks or similar accounting software Professional etiquette to staff & clients Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
